Driving

  • From Billings, Montana, start from the airport and North 27th Street and head toward 2nd Avenue. Make a Right on 1st Avenue North to merge on to I-90 West and continue toward Butte for almost 12 miles. Take exit 434 toward Laurel/Red Lodge, and continue about 45 miles on US HWY 212 South into Red Lodge.
  • From Cody, Wyoming, start from Sheridan Avenue and head North toward 16th Street where you will turn left and continue less than a mile to turn left on Belfry HWY/WY 120. Travel about 38 miles and continue on Montana’s HWY 72 for about 11 miles and then turn left onto HWY 308 for about 14 miles. Turn right on to US HWY 212 and you are in Red Lodge in less than a mile.

Flying

Red Lodge has a tiny, charter-only airstrip so you’ll most likely fly into Billings, Montana on one of six commercial carriers and journey to Red Lodge from there.
